Acting Coaching

NTóM

"NTóM - Acting Coaching" is the first experimental theater workshop in Athens for professional and graduate actors. It aims to develop an artistic center of acting, with the aim of retraining the professional and graduate actor.

At NTóM we provide Acting Coaching sessions as well as acting training for actors who are looking to broaden their research on working on a role.

The art of acting in the theater system is and will always be what determines the play on stage. Without the actor and the art of acting, there is no theater.

Vassia Veltsista, PhD (December 2019, Russian Institute of Theater Arts - GITIS Drama Department).

"Suddenly we realize that our profession is the only profession that has no technique. Every artist practices their technique daily - the painter, the musician, the dancer. But for some reason the actors are not on this list. We act because we want to act, and we act on a whim. And something doesn’t work there. "

M. Chekhov, November 7, 1941, Los Angeles

Acting Coaching

Acting coaching helps the actor's innate tendency to discover and develop their acting tools. Therefore, we work on the existing perspectives of the role, and we give space to those that may still need to be discovered.

Acting training

In acting training sessions the actor can attend individual or small group courses. The aim of the courses is the presentation of monologues, scenes and plays, always depending on the needs of the group.
